Buhari's Administration ordained by God - Cleric

President Muhammadu Buhari

Rev. Raphael Ogunkunle of the Seed of Life Disciples Global Ministry, Kaduna has urged Nigerians to be thankful to God for giving the country someone like President Buhari to be at the helm of affairs.

The cleric made the statement on Sunday on the occasion of the ministry’s 10th-anniversary service, and launching of the ministry’s documentary which had the theme “Unparalleled Exploit”.

Ogunkunle stated that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is one which was ordained by God. He also described the current administration as the best the country needed.

He urged Nigerians to give thanks to God for the achievements which have been recorded so far instead of constantly condemning the government.

According to the Cleric, the various kinds of challenges Nigeria is faced with are as a result of the negative comments the citizens keep making.

In his own words, “I will not condemn the government because it is what we deserve that God has given to us; say positive things and it will attract positive things. That way, we get better results.” “If we are good and wish our country well, Nigeria will be good; but if we are bad and continue to pray for negative things, we will continue to experience negative things.”

On the issue of the coming general elections in 2019, Ogunkunle urged Nigerians to desist from making negative utterances but instead, pray for a peaceful and fair election.

The Cleric gave thanks to God for his faithfulness and blessings upon his church. He stated that since 2008, several youths from the church have successfully graduated from various universities with excellent results, and several other members who used to be tenants have now become landlords.
He thanked members of his church for their support whilst urging them to continue to trust and obey God.

The guest speaker of the occasion, Pastor Olatunde Ogunbiyi equally said that Nigerians have more reasons to thank God for how far he has brought us.

He added that God rewards a cheerful heart and that people should learn the habit of saying thank you instead of constantly lamenting.
